We headed over from the train station tower
while I inspected my dress.
We had to cross the tracks, and I was nervous about walking in the gravel in my dress and heels so E scooped me up and made his way carefully across
stopping halfway to take some silly pictures with the groomsmen (while the girls were on the lookout for approaching trains)
These shots were totally unplanned spur of the moment shots. I never thought I'd want a mid-air jump shot, but now I wish we'd have thought to grab the girls for it too!
across the tracks was the fountain, and all of us enjoyed the wind-tossed sprays that escaped.
It was HOT!
Because of construction on the tracks, the road was blocked from the stoplight to the train track crossing (a few hundred feet), so we took the opportunity for Abby Road-style walking
and this picture just cracks me up! I believe Chris said "show me attitude, ladies". Sister Frapp looks like I just stole her boyfriend!
But I pacified them all with the promise of ice-cream
Our last stop was an old fashioned ice cream parlor, and the highlight of the day--Sam & Jake's. It was 2pm, 90+ and wickedly humid. It was the perfect time for a cool down and a sweet treat.
we hadn't called ahead or let them know that a possy of wedding attendants were planning to show up, but were thrilled with the cooperation of the store owners. They requested some of the photos to put up on their bulletin board(our photogs sent them, but unfortunately, I haven't been back to see them!)
we wiped sticky fingers, gathered our stuff and headed off to church. It was time!

Beautiful shots. I love the ones in the street!
